My name is Reena Ramani and I am a 17 year-old high school student at Vestavia Hills High School. I am the CEO and founder of a nonprofit charity organization named Project Menstrual Equity (ME), a program that fights against period poverty across the world. The Balagee Foundation graciously donated $5000 towards our mission with which we have been able to donate over 1000 sustainable, reusable sanitary cloth pads to 120 school girls in Democratic Republic of Congo and 200 school girls in Zambia. Thanks to The Balagee Foundation’s support, we have been able to positively impact the lives of these girls for the next 2 years as they will now be able to participate in educational and physical activities that they would have otherwise missed due to the lack of sanitary pads. I am incredibly grateful to The Balagee Foundation for their support in making a difference in the world.

On behalf of all the 250+ canine, bovine, caprine, swine and equine residents of the Almighty Animal Sanctuary, I would like to thank The Balagee Foundation for the grant of Rs. 25,000 as it was really helpful towards purchasing the medicines that would be needed to treat the animals for a week.
